According to The Wall Street Journal, college mascots are a new favorite on the wedding guest list. The publication recently shared a story on the popularity of hiring the costumed attendees to add a bit of pizzazz at wedding receptions and other milestone events.  purpleitn

Grace Payne ’19 and Paul DeHondt ’20 talked to The Wall Street Journal after hiring SuperFrog as a surprise guest at their wedding reception, which included many fellow Horned Frogs.

“It was definitely the highlight,” Payne said. “Everyone was going crazy.”

Senior Brendan Healy was the one donning the SuperFrog attire that evening – right after he hurried from the seventh inning of a TCU baseball game.

“I’ve only had a few days like that as SuperFrog, but that’s one I’m never going to forget,” Healy said.
