DR Scott Prasser
Scott Prasser worked in state government in senior policy and research positions covering welfare, state development and science and technology. He also held senior academic roles, the last at professorial level. Scott worked in the Fraser Government 1975-78 and then as CoS for the Immigration Minister,1982-3. Between 2013-2019 he was Senior Adviser to three Federal Cabinet Ministers across education, regional development and health. Scott鈥檚 recent publications include: Promise and Performance: Albanese鈥檚 First Term (2025 co-edited);Tragedy without Triumph: The Coalition in Office 2013-2022 ( 2024); The Art of Opposition(2024 co-edited); The Whitlam Era (2022 co-edited); Royal Commissions and Public Inquiries in Australia (2nd ed ); Menzies: Man or Myth (2020). Scott holds degrees from Queensland University and a PhD from Griffith University.
